Women’s History Month

Women’s history month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society during the month of March.  It has been observed annually since 1987.

How do we celebrate Women’s History Month at Hemispheres Academy?

Students at Hemispheres spent time thinking about something they personally cared about and would like to change, bring attention to, or otherwise help.  Then they worked to design a postcard, banner, button or political cartoon to help raise awareness for their cause and persuade others to help make a difference.
